The client’s goal was simple but essential: they wanted to retain their existing gates but needed a modern, reliable automation system that would work flawlessly every time.

Our Approach: Expert Retrofitting & Modernisation

Rather than recommending a completely new gate installation, which can be costly and unnecessary, we focused on a retrofit solution.

Our process involved:

Full System Audit: We inspected the physical integrity of the existing gates and hinges to ensure they could handle the torque of a modern motor.
Custom Specification: We selected a high-specification automation kit (e.g., Beninca or DEA) specifically suited to the weight and wind-loading of these particular gates.
Safety Integration: Because older systems often lack modern safety features, we upgraded the installation with the latest safety photocells and obstacle detection to ensure full compliance with current UK safety standards.
Seamless Installation: We removed the obsolete hardware and professionally fitted the new motors and control board, ensuring all wiring was discrete and weather-protected.
