GSM Intercom Replacement with Remote Gate Access
For this project, we replaced a faulty intercom system that had not been working for some time, restoring reliable communication and access control to the automated gate.
The new installation allows visitors to press the intercom call button, which rings directly through to a designated phone number. The gate can then be opened remotely by the property owner, providing a convenient way to grant access to visitors, deliveries, or authorised users.
In addition to phone control, the system also includes keypad entry, allowing trusted users to access the property using a secure entry code. The system can also be configured with timed opening schedules, enabling the gate to automatically operate during specific periods when required.
Because the intercom operates through the mobile network, the gate can be answered and opened from anywhere with a phone signal, giving the property owner full control of access even when they are away from the site.
By replacing the outdated intercom with a modern GSM access system, the entrance now benefits from reliable operation, flexible access control, and improved day-to-day convenience.
